Makeover time!

So I hadn't had a haircut since last December. Ack! Just been busy and all nose to the grindstone. Work, work work. Then I read F. Scott Fitzgerald's awesome short story, Bernice Bobs Her Hair and got to thinking....

I thought, hey! I want to be the girl dancing down the street... so off to the beauty parlor and an hour or so later, I'm ready for summer.

  1. You look lovely! Now all you need is a cloche hat and some fancy shoes...

  3. How cute are you? I just love it and the Fred Y Adele Astaire dance. I'd be dancing too with a haircut like that. Love IT.

  4. Love the new hair cut. Thanks for posting Fred and Adele, I love Fred but I have never seen his sister, much less hear her sing. Wonderful. And you can't beat George and Ira Gershwin. Still classic after all these years.

  5. Lovely haircut, gorgeous! xx

And good grief, Fred Astaire started dancing over 100 years ago? :)

  6. I love it! I've been sitting on the fence of chopping my hair off in a similar style but I would have to straighten it every day.

Plus I LOVE Bernice Bobs Her Hair!

    1. Do it! I didn't straighten mine today and it boinged back to wavy, but it still looks rather fetching it I do say so.

And more LOVE for Bernice. It's such a great coming of age girl power story.
