If you want to know what two hundred bucks will buy a girl these days...
Shoes.... shoes... shoes....
Paint for the back door
Ten pounds of Mrs. See's Chocolates
Windsor & Newton art supplies
Lots of DVDs including Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in your living room
A hot stone massage and maybe a pedicure.
Or two hundred bucks will buy you one very pissed off cat with the flu pumped full of antibiotics and fluids, and a car that smells like sick. (And a pizza and a bottle of cheap wine.)
Guess what I got... Today, I am a grown up.
Hope you and your cat both feel better soon. Jenn in Albuquerque
ReplyDeleteWe are both much better, thank you. :-)
DeleteOoohhh nooo, not good. Ah well if it makes you feel any better my $200 went to the dentist today! Yuck! Would have much rather have had the other goodies instead! Chin up big girl! As Scarlett said "After all, tomorrow is another day."
ReplyDeleteAni, hugs my friend. And yes, tomorrow. :-)
DeleteI'm just glad to have my furry purry back and on the mend. <3
Mi-ouch!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! >^..^<
DeleteNow that the cat is doing better, go for the paint... it's gorgeous!!

I know! Isn't it delish? Although our door swings in and I don't know if I want a purple door in my dining room. Orange maybe.
DeleteSigh. Yes, you are. Pet insurance?
ReplyDeleteNo on the pet insurance, I'm afraid. The upside is that Mister Pretty is back to his old cheerful self, and that makes it all worthwhile. :-)
DeleteMaz.
I hope that your cat is doing well and that next time you can treat yourself to that massage!
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm sorry to hear it. No chocolate and shoes? Yes, home your cat feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteMister Pretty is 110 percent better and I'm hoping for at least one or two of these things some day soon.
