By the Sea, by the Sea, by the Beautiful Sea....

I had a lovely birthday on Monday, dinner with family, lolling about, cards, presents, well wishes. It was a delight. I also spent a good part of the morning drawing, over sixty doodles in all. This little batch of seashore drawings were my favorites of the day and so with summer right around the bend, here you are....

Sometimes it's good to just let your pencil wander and follow your fancy, don't you think?

  1. Love the places your pencil goes. My pencil always ends up in a quagmire of hatchmarks.
Do you have any toy designs from the shore?

  9. Happy Birthday
These are so beautiful. The lighthouse is begging to be a "toy" lighthouse :)
Usually I come to your site for something extra special for my class but tonight it was to make a b'day present to make a friend feel special!
I made her the polar bear box (it is so quirky I want to keep it) and a flower basket full of finger puppets (she's a teacher too).
So thank-you and so glad your day was special too
