I've been doodling little graphic motifs in my spare time. I don't really have any purpose for them, they just go into my archive of flourishes. Here are a couple from this week. I'm thinking that they might make nice little boxes or bags. Must ponder, Marilyn.
There is nothing like a dream to create the future. ~ Victor Hugo
I can see the top one as a journal cover... The bottom one for one of those fancy vinegar bottle with herbs inside : )
ReplyDeleteI love these! So delightful and put me in touch with my Irish roots. Now you've made me want to sing "Oh, Danny Boy". Hmm, I think I will :)
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I wish I even a small portion of your talent, Marilyn.
ReplyDeleteMy doodles don't have any rhyme, rhythm or reason, or BEAUTY!
Thank you for sharing.
These are delightful and also bring out my deep rooted Celtic feelings! Thank you so much for doodling!
ReplyDeleteGot your lovely newsletter today, thank you! I'm glad you switched to a wordpress blog because I had difficulties commenting on the old one. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying your work for about 2 years since a friend forwarded your newsletter. When I see your newsletter in my inbox it's the first thing I open. I have in turn forwarded your newsletter to friends and made paper toys for my family and co-workers.
ReplyDeleteI love your work!
Hi Phred! These are beautiful, but your work always is. The grapes are nicely art deco and remind me of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
ReplyDeletewow, these remind me of painted tiles!! they are so neat!! Make me want to go and make some of my own, though I am busy with other things right now. So attractive...
