I turned around and....

It's the boy's 15th birthday. How did that happen? How did he go from this?

To this? In the blink of an eye he's all grown up. Sigh.

Happy birthday, not so small boy. Love, Mom.

  1. How is that possible! What a handsome lad. I got choked up looking at the progression, because I can see how quickly Josh is going to grow up! Happy birthday!

  2. Thank, sister! I can see Josh driving his little sister to school, can't you? Here's to hoping our kids help make the world a better place.

    Big hugs, M

  3. It's true! It's as if we mothers have some sort of time warp occur within our little families. I turned around and my twins did the same thing...they're 14 now. What?! And my youngest, she's 12 as of last week. I'm super sad they won't play with felt food anymore....Cheers!

  4. This is a beautiful tribute to your son! I can assure you that many happy and exciting things are still to come. My sons and daughters are in their 30s and 40s, where time accelerates to the speed of light. (Mother-type lump in the throat).

  5. Oh well, time flies, but those are memories beyond cuteness (what a cute boy!), and the cuteness is still there, even in the last picture, in the form of a handsome, not-so-small boy! The kid has been growing, but you're still a happy mom! ;)
