Unfold your scissors. Find a square of paper.
Fold your paper diagonally, fold again and one more time. Draw on a design with pencil. Make sure that the design connects on the sides.
Cut out your design. Now, for the fun part!
Play with the scissors for a bit. (Do not try this at home.)
Carefully unfold the paper. What do we have here?
Admire your art. Hmm, interesting.
Glue your design to a piece of paper. Pet the cat.
Wander off to chase the laser pointer around the living room.

The end.
a Kitty snowflake!
ReplyDeleteI need to figure out a train cut out to impress my grandsons!
Thanks for the tutorial!
That is the cutest snowflake! Plus, I feel that male ginger tabbies are consistently the best cats. He is adorable and obviously very helpful. He also looks like our ginger, Simon, right down to the blue collar, maybe I can train him to be just as helpful, though he may argue that the rug in the kitchen is still alive and he must continue to kill it. Enjoy your new addition, fellow cat lover!
ReplyDeleteOn all the occasions that my son's cat lay across the computer keyboard, it never occurred to me that what she really wanted was to play with scissors. This is a beautiful and creative snowflake!
ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteWelcome Home. I just got back too. You know what else we have in common? We both have crafting cats. I knew we were beyond hip and cool.
