We went to Roger's Gardens in Newport Beach this morning. It is a beautiful place, insanely expensive, but filled with the most beautiful plants you can imagine. I snapped a few photos just as we were walking around and this is how they turned out. Pretty snazzy, don't you think? I can't believe that a little pocket camera takes pictures like this.
It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS5 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom with 2.7-Inch LCD (Black) in case you are curious.

I am smitten right along with you.
ReplyDeleteIf I ever buy a camera (instead of inheriting the ones my children discard)- this would be on my #1 list.
This is the first time I've ever actually had my very own camera. I'm feeling a little like Cinderella. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe flower pics are insanely beautiful. Nice job it does close up. I do still like the kitty nose you posted, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of pocket camera; fine flower images. Cards?
ReplyDeleteCards? Ooh, I'll have to ponder! :-)
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos! And I was really impressed when I read the notes about it being a pocket camera. I think you have a winner there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these gorgeous posies! Now, can you post the smells of the flowers, please? :)
No surprise you take super photos, they are beautiful as is your art work.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tip about your new camera. I hope to buy one that will take good close ups.
Happy eyes,
Petrina
