Yeast Crackers

Inspired as always by the awesome Celia over at http://figjamandlimecordial.com/ I decided to try some yeast crackers. I found this "Bread in Five Minutes a Day" recipe and decided to try it. http://www.artisanbreadinfive.com/

I didn't dock the crackers so some of them puffed up into little pillows.... still delicious. I have half the dough left so I'll be tempted to try these again tomorrow.

  2. they look marvelous, Marilyn!
When you said crackers, I was thinking Christmas and small firecrackers and hats and toys!
Duh! The sun must be getting to me- YEAST crackers!
Are you dipping them or eating them plain?

  3. We just gobbled them up plain. Some of them had salt on them and others had pepper or spices. I think that the next batch will be plain with just salt.

  6. Hi, Marilyn,
Wow, those look delicious. I haven't had a chance to catch up with your journal in a long time, but I am anxious to read back through your posts. Have I told you lately that I love you and all the resources you provide for us. Remember me - middle school teacher from Bethany, CT - I hope to get kids in my computer crafts club interested in making some of your creations. Best to you and yours! I hope to make your crackers soon.
