These are lovely. I love linen and have printed on it, embroidered with it, but never painted. hmmm, would you ever consider making embroidery patterns? you could offer them as PDFs in the same way you do the scrapbooking papers. Yes, I'm suggesting even MORE work for you, sorry.
I love the roses - they look like they were painted long ago and have faded just a touch. The butterfly is very Craftsman-like. I too think embroidery designs would be wonderful!

ReplyDeleteDawn, hello! No need to apologize for more art. It's like apologizing for too many flowers or air. No such thing. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuggestion aken. Thanks!

WOW! Beautifull!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a wonderful thing to do, with this short life.

DeleteI just love the roses!
ReplyDeleteDid Chaucer really say that?! I never would have guessed he was the source of that familiar quote.
Yes! It's the first line of a poem Chaucer wrote called the Parliament of Fowles.

But the quote of also associated with one of my favorite designers, Gustav Stickley.
Beautiful, and with such a wonderful old fashioned feel to them, Maz! xx

ReplyDeleteThis has such possibilities! I wonder if you worked the colors in the same tones as the linen if they would look nice. I like it! I get ideas! LOL
